Week 12 Recap: Playoff Matchups Still In Question

Week 12 of the National Arena League season brought several important results as teams continue battling for playoff positioning heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

The Salina Liberty picked up one of the biggest wins of the week with a 39-11 victory over the Sioux City Bandits. Salina controlled the game on both sides of the ball and continued building momentum late in the season. The Liberty defense limited scoring opportunities throughout the night while the offense capitalized on key drives to secure the win.

The Southwest Kansas Storm also earned a strong home victory, defeating the Louisiana Rouxgaroux 49-13. Southwest Kansas continued to showcase one of the league’s most balanced performances, using an efficient offense and aggressive defensive pressure to pull away early.

In another key matchup, the Omaha Beef defeated the Colorado Spartans 30-27 in the closest games of the weekend. Omaha was able to make key plays late to hold off Colorado and kick a field goal at the end of the game to take the win.

As the playoff picture continues to take shape, every game is becoming more important across the National Arena League. Teams are now entering the final portion of the regular season with postseason positioning on the line each week.
