THE 2027 NAL LEAGUE YEAR IS UNDERWAY
Unrestricted Free Agency Open as the Road to Season X Officially Begins
Hickory, NC - The calendar has officially turned.
The National Arena League today opened Unrestricted Free Agency, officially beginning the 2027 NAL league year and setting the stage for what could be one of the most active off-seasons in league history.
Beginning today, unrestricted free agents are eligible to negotiate and sign with NAL member teams as organizations across the league begin building their rosters for Season X.
And movement is expected.
With returning contenders looking to strengthen their rosters, organizations preparing for a new season, and players across the league now free to explore new opportunities, the opening of free agency brings the first major roster-building period of the 2027 campaign.
New teams. New opportunities. New destinations.
For players, September 1 represents an opportunity to determine where the next chapter of their careers will be written.
For teams, it marks the beginning of the race to build a championship roster.
Over the coming days and weeks, fans can expect player signings, returning stars, new additions and potentially some of the biggest roster moves of the offseason as teams begin putting the pieces together for 2027.
The destination at the end of that road is now clear.
Season X. The National Bowl.
Today, the pursuit officially begins.
FREE AGENCY IS OPEN.
Welcome to the 2027 National Arena League year.
