National Arena League Names Jeff Blumenauer Director of Broadcast Operations
Building for Season X continues as the National Arena League expands its broadcast leadership.
The National Arena League is pleased to announce the addition of Jeff Blumenauer as Director of Broadcast Operations as the league continues preparations for its 10th season.
In his role, Blumenauer will oversee the continued development and coordination of the NAL's league-wide broadcast operations, working with league leadership, member organizations, broadcast personnel, and media partners to strengthen the presentation and consistency of the NAL broadcast product.
The addition comes as the National Arena League continues to place an increased emphasis on its broadcast and digital presence heading into Season X. With an expanding distribution strategy, continued development of the NAL Network, and Scripps Sports as a global broadcast partner of the National Arena League, Blumenauer will help coordinate the league's broadcast efforts across its growing media footprint.
His responsibilities will include working to establish league-wide broadcast standards, assisting with production coordination across NAL markets, supporting broadcast talent and personnel, and helping develop a more consistent viewing experience for fans throughout the season.
“Broadcasting is one of the most important ways our fans experience the National Arena League outside of the arena,” said Commissioner Ikard. “As we enter Season X, we want the presentation of our league to continue growing alongside everything else we are building. Jeff gives us someone focused specifically on that area and on creating greater consistency across our broadcasts.”
Blumenauer's addition is part of a continued investment by the National Arena League in the infrastructure surrounding its teams and players as the league prepares for its milestone 10th season.
Season X continues to take shape.
