NAL Week 5: Statement Performances Across the League

CONOVER, NC – The National Arena League completed Week 5 of the 2026 regular season with a full slate of games, highlighted by a nationally featured matchup, key defensive performances, and continued separation among early-season contenders.

The Salina Liberty delivered a statement win in the league’s featured matchup, defeating the Pueblo Punishers 40 to 34. In a game that remained tight throughout, Salina made key plays down the stretch to hand Pueblo its first loss of the season and continue its strong early run.

The Southwest Kansas Storm remained among the league’s top teams with a 48 to 41 victory over the Colorado Spartans. Both teams exchanged scores throughout, but Southwest Kansas was able to capitalize on key moments late to secure the win in a high-scoring contest.

The Sioux City Bandits turned in one of the most complete defensive performances of the week, defeating the Omaha Beef 26 to 6. Sioux City controlled the game from start to finish, limiting scoring opportunities and creating separation early.

In Dallas, the Dallas Bulls secured a 46 to 29 win over the Amarillo Warbirds. The Bulls showcased their offensive firepower, consistently finding the end zone and maintaining control throughout the contest.


As the season continues to develop, teams are beginning to separate in the standings, with strong offensive production and timely execution continuing to define the 2026 campaign.
