Around the NAL Gets Spooky with Halloween-Themed Episode

Louisiana Rouxgaroux head coach Fred Shaw and “NAL Nightmares” headline this week’s Halloween edition.

Halloween is taking over Around the NAL, with this week’s episode bringing a seasonal twist to the teams, personalities and players of the National Arena League.

The show opens with a fitting Halloween subject: the legend behind the Louisiana Rouxgaroux. Fans will explore the mythical creature that inspired the team’s identity before hearing from head coach Fred Shaw about Louisiana’s preparations for the 2027 season.

Shaw discusses his journey, his new role in Louisiana and a roster featuring both familiar faces and new additions. The conversation also makes room for a few Halloween questions along the way.

Then, “NAL Nightmares” turns the spotlight toward players who give opponents plenty to worry about. From physically imposing competitors to proven playmakers, the segment explores some of the league’s toughest matchups—including a defensive back duo that could make life especially difficult for opposing quarterbacks.

With a Halloween-themed intro and updated graphics setting the mood, this week’s Around the NAL mixes football conversation with some seasonal fun as the road to 2027 continues.
